Host Sherrilynne Starkie welcomes author and leadership trainer Sharon Jones to episode 21 of the 50 Women Over 50 podcast.
Sharon remembers her 50th birthday as a landmark day, because what happened changed the whole trajectory of her life. She shares the lessons she learned in her book, Tread Gently: For the Emotionally Clumsy.
In this interview Sherrilynne discovered that she and Sharon have a lot in common. Sharon has divided her adult life between Canada and Great Britain, had a successful agency career and, along the way, has learned many of the same life lessons of humility, accountability and responsibility.
Sharon discusses the importance of developing emotional intelligence and how, by gaining the self awareness she needed, she was able to take life’s reins and chart her own journey to finally find happiness with husband No. 4.
