To say the logo was warmly received would be an understatement. As the new look was revealed on the conference big screen the audience was silent for a full five seconds. Then people laughed out loud.
Nearly 30 other awards will be awarded to recognize a wide range of work in categories such as media relations, crisis communications, interactive media, graphic design and social media. The event will also honour IABC Ottawa member Barb MacDonald, who was selected as IABC Canada’s Master Communicator. Additionally the chapter will celebrate its seven IABC chapter management awards including the very prestigious International Chapter of the Year.
