Hootsuite announces integration with Pinterest
Social media management platform Hootsuite has announced a global partnership with Pinterest to natively integrate the social networking platform into the Hootsuite platform.
The move means that Hootsuite customers will be able to schedule and publish visual content directly to their Pinterest boards. In addition, customers that have Hootsuite Impact will also be able to measure their Pinterest account growth and analyze the performance of individual Pins as part of their integrated marketing strategy and associated campaigns.

Google is rolling out an all new Google News, which uses the best of artificial intelligence to find the best of human intelligence—the great reporting done by journalists around the globe.
It uses a new set of artificial intelligence techniques to take a constant flow of information as it hits the web, analyze it in real time and organize it into storylines. This approach means Google News understands the people, places and things involved in a story as it evolves, and connects how they relate to one another.
Making it Easier to Do Business on Instagram
To make messaging easier and more efficient, Instagram is introducing a new set of features for businesses using Instagram Direct.
Businesses will now see important new customer messages in their main Direct inbox, instead of in the pending folder. Businesses can also star and filter conversations to come back to messages for follow up. And Instagram is testing quick replies, so businesses can easily to respond to common questions about topics such as business hours or shipping rates.
Using the new action buttons—Book, Get Tickets, Reserve and Start Order—people can now complete transactions through popular, third-party partners without having to leave Instagram. Partners include: Acuity, Atom Tickets, Booksy, ChowNow, Eatstreet, Eventbrite, Fandango, GrubHub, MyTime, OpenTable, Reserve, Restorando, Resy, SevenRooms, StyleSeat, Tock and Yelp Reservations.
Facebook privacy: Survey suggests continuing US loyalty
Most Facebook users in the US remain loyal, despite the recent data sharing scandal involving a political consultancy firm, a poll suggests. The Reuters/Ipsos survey found no clear loss or gain in use since the recent privacy scandal.
A quarter of Facebook users said they used it less or had left it but another quarter said they used it even more. The remaining half said their use of the network had not changed.
WhatsApp rolls out a new feature for group chats
WhatsApp has just announced “Restricted Groups”. This feature gives a Group Admin the power to control who can change group’s description and who cannot. This keeps unwanted edits away and adds a certain level of moderation to the group chats.
