I’ll be at Canada’s National Pet Industry Trade Show next month delivering Social Media 101, a two-part introduction to social media course.
PIJAC Canada, the organization that runs the show, conducted a survey of members to find out what they need to learn about social media. The majority agreed on basic training.
It’s for people who are not sure the differences between Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Linkedin or Youtube. They want to learn which platforms their audience is most likely using. They want to understand how a digital presence affects business.
Social Media 101 starts at the very beginning. In this two-part seminar covers learning:
the ins-and-outs of the most popular social media networks for businesses
how to create and populate social media profiles
how to master the basics of using social media channels for business
