I was lucky enough to be invited to the first-ever Fireworks Factory conference held on Galiano Island, British Columbia. The focus was on web strategy and I left the conference full of ideas and insights.
The intimate venue, Galiano Inn and Spa, and the small group of senior marketing professionals provided an opportunity to really get to know people through thoughtful discussions of our own experiences, both the wins and the epic fails.
Speakers at the event included CBC’s Nora Young, Lee Lefever from Common Craft, Rob Cottingham of Social Signal and John Mann from Spirit of the West. And, many of the delegates also contributed presentations of their own work and ideas.
