Oh no! Our friends at PR Moment have put together a jargon buster that includes the 12 most-hated phrases used in the public relations profession. I’m embarrassed to admit to using 11 of the 12. A prize goes out to the first one who can name the only term from the list I’ve never been guilty of using (leave your guess in the comments).

Blue sky thinking
Cross pollination/fertilisation
Digital native/immigrant

4. How readable is your blog? Scott runs several PR-type blogs on the Gunning-Fog readability test. I used to …

“People who don’t like you better like chemical weapons. You are Saddam Hussien. You are the toughest on the block. You are not afraid of confrontation.”
There must be some mistake I thought to myself. So I did the …

Yuk Yuk Yuk….did you hear the one about the BBC research assistant that put a cabbie on air instead of the ‘subject expert’? Apparently the cab driver was waiting in the reception to pick the expert up after his interview. Somehow the driver ended up on air giving his opinion on music downloading… Hat tip to Drew B for pointing this one out.
Update…I just found a clip on youtube.
