March 2011: Ottawa’s Twitter top 20

2 April 2011 1,948 views 2 Comments

These lists are couple of days late, so I’m sneaking them in under the wire.  Once again they are a stark reminder that just because you are popular doesn’t necessarily mean that you have influence. That said, even the influence measured here has limited real-life relevance.  For example a person might only have five followers, but if they are all members of parliament, you could rightfully say the guy has considerable influence.

These tables are just a bit of competitive fun. To ensure you’re in with a chance of being included in next month’s table, make sure you list your Twitter profile on Twitter Grader and Klout.  Remember, only profiles associated with a human name are included.  That way regular folks are not competing with big brands and news services for visability.

If I’ve made any mistakes or omissions I do apologise.  Leave a note about any in the comments and I’ll endeavour to fix it next month.
