March 2011: Isle of Man’s Twitter top 20
Welcome to the monthly Twitter popularity v influence rankings for the Isle of Man. For the second month running, it’s based on Klout and Grader, instead of TweetLevel and Grader as these tables had been done in the past. It’s important to remember that Klout considers Facebook and Twitter into its evaluations while Grader is based on Twitter only so the comparison isn’t entirely level. But still the difference is stark, with almost half of the folks that are popular not making the grade in terms of influence.
But then again, it’s all just a bit of fun and to show that just because you are popular on Twitter (Grader) doesn’t mean you have influence (Klout).
To ensure you’re in with a chance of being included in next month’s table, make sure you list your Twitter profile on Twitter Grader and Klout. Remember, only profiles associated with a human name are included. That way regular folks are not competing with big brands and news services for visability.
If I’ve made any mistakes or omissions I do apologise. Please let me know about them and I’ll endeavour to fix it next month.
