		<description><![CDATA[I suppose people&#039;s perception of the blogs is at the root of the matter. While I expect traditional media (newspapers, TV news) to provide an impartial report on current events; blogs tend to exhibit a more personal, subjective view on the matter at hand, often without first-hand experience on the event being reported on.

I&#039;m a regular blog reader, but wouldn&#039;t expect any of the blogs I visit to provide me with accurate, timely reporting of current news; which is why I subscribe to RSS feeds from news sites which I expect to be authoritative sources of such information.]]></description>
